How does LIGO look for gravitational waves? | Cosmos

“LIGO team plans to set up a new detector to triangulate on observed gravitational-events in India by 2020.”

After entering the field of medicine, after taking up blogging, photography and what not; I haven’t followed physics for so long, let alone read another excellent article in the Scientific American. And still, this is a subject that continues to baffle me. A solid proof of Albert Einstein’s theory of General Relativity; this is a major victory for science, maybe one of the first big find of this new millennium.
These are exciting times.
